Why This Jatropha Biofuel Website?

The current sources for biodiesel production, especially in the US, are extremely inefficient and thus require the use of vast amounts of agricultural land. Eventually the expanded use of these sources for the production of biodiesel will lead to infringing on land used for raising food crops. Jatropha produces up to 10 times the amount per acre of oil as other sources and grows on non-agricultural land, eliminating this problem.
