About
Jatropha Oil Fields and My Dream Fuel LLC.
This website
is a joint venture between Lablandbiotech of Mysore India
& DreamFuels, Ltda. of San Jose, Costa Rica. To learn
more about Lablandbiotech please visit their website: www.lablandbiotechs.com.
There you will see that Dr. Sudheer Shetty has put together
a team of Ph.D.’s to revolutionize the approach taken
to biodiesel in general, and the development of Jatropha
in particular. As these pictures testify, Labland
is committed to providing vastly superior seedlings to serve
as the basis of all biodiesel produced by Dream Fuels, Ltd.

The
story of this joint venture between these two great companies
is one of bringing people together from two distant cultures
and twp far away lands. Paul Dalton, founder of Dream
Fuels, Ltda. discovered years ago that Costa Rica’s
Rain Forest had been decimated by the over development of
the cattle industry during the late 70's and early 80's.
Starting a few years back, he found that one couple,
Steve and Sherry Brunner, were doing something about this
problem. The Brunner’s through their purchase
of several abandoned cattle ranches were able to change
the depleted rain forests of south central Costa Rica from
wasteland into once again the beautiful lush green rainforests
that had once been there.

With the passage
of time and the help of many investors like Paul & Ellen
Dalton, the Brunner’s have planted over 2 million
tropical hardwoods. Their example has served as our inspiration
to attack another problem, the lack of use of non agricultural
land to help fight Global Warming. Reforestation
is a vital and necessary part of the solution to Global
Warming, but some land is not suitable for growing trees.
Using Jatropha, biodiesel production can occur on
land not suitable for growing trees. It can
be grown on arid non agricultural land and thus does not
compete with trees or food crops. This is a very important
fact for anyone concerned with the issues of deforestation
and/or food versus fuel, in developing countries. By
not diverting land that is currently being used to grow
food or could be used to restore a rainforest, Jatropha
is setting the stage to become the premiere source of biodiesel,
without any of the negative tradeoffs associated with other
feedstock sources.

In addition,
Jatropha produces up to ten times the amount of oil of other
plants per acre.
By combining
their resources at this website, both companies hope to
bring to the public an awareness of the importance of taking
action today to attack the issues surrounding Global Warming.
At the same time, both companies hope to provide an
ecologically sensitive way to provide clean renewable energy
whose production not only provides environmental benefits
but also financial ones to those eager to find solutions
to the world’s growing energy and environmental problems.
